Integration of changes into IS
The initial step involved mapping of existing processes and evaluating the current operations. We followed that by designing new processes, detailing the future state and integrating these modifications into the company’s information system, reporting frameworks, and support systems. The client was provided with a clearly defined action plan that would lead to the desired outcomes and also to the seamless implementation of the changes.
Thanks to the implemented changes in the information system and tailor-made reporting, Thermo King can increase the production planning efficiency and optimize the entire purchasing process as well as the supply of production materials from suppliers. That will lead to reduced workload on planners, decreased inventory level and shorter production lead times. At the same time, the entire process will be simplified, and the flow of material in production will increase. The customer will also gain the basis for strategic evaluation of cooperation with suppliers.
