MOTIVATION

Z-GROUP is a successful continuation of the long tradition of metallurgical and iron and steel companies in the Czech Republic. The production plant Železárny Hrádek, which currently has a significant market position, has decided to optimize its current maintenance processes in order to increase production performance, and Logio is helping it with this challenge.

SOLUTION

One of the first steps was to focus on the ratio of corrective to preventive maintenance. Following this, we designed a streamlined maintenance organizational structure, described job descriptions for positions and introduced new key processes related to monitoring and planning maintenance activities.

CONCLUSION

The aim of the project was to reduce repair times and ensure higher availability of production equipment. All of this has had a positive impact on reducing the frequency of downtime, improving production KPIs and the company’s bottom line.
