MOTIVATION

For our customer in the Automotive sector, we covered the implementation of a new supply system for the production line. This is designed to ensure optimal delivery of the required assembly parts in the right quantity and at the right time from the warehouse to the specific stroke of the line.

SOLUTION

We were the first to prepare a functional specification describing the key processes. It contains not only all the requirements for the system functionalities, including the so-called Use Cases, but also the necessary technical parameters and requirements for system security and maintenance. When designing the solution, we had to take into account the fact that the new system will communicate with five other information systems of the customer. Together with the customer we conducted a tender for the system supplier and then we successfully completed the implementation of the solution.

CONCLUSION

We are pleased to have contributed to the smooth implementation of the new management system, which has the benefit of reducing inventory in production and reducing delivery time to the line.
