Initial challenge

The operator of 370 pharmacies was looking for ways to further improve service levels in its pharmacies. There was still room to increase product availability for customers and to reduce the manual effort that staff spent on ordering.

Project goal

The goal was to increase product availability and revenue across the network, while at the same time reducing logistics costs and the time pharmacists spent on routine inventory and ordering tasks.

Solution

AI based planning for every pharmacy in the network

Logio deployed Veritico Stock to forecast demand and control inventory with artificial intelligence, then aligned delivery routes and frequencies to the new replenishment pattern.
