MOTIVATION

SIKO is a Czech family company, the biggest bathroom and kitchen specialist with an offering of over 50,000 products. The company was having trouble with ineffective Supply Chain and sales management, which was resulting in low availability of key products in stores, and large stock in warehouses, especially during the high-seasons.

SOLUTION

SIKO always had a sense for efficient Supply Chain and S&OP. Historically, they were handling these processes successfully in the DOS system, which was eventually replaced by the SAP system implementation. Thanks to our VERITICO STOCK system, SIKO embraced more potential in the Supply Chain which brought along some very interesting benefits.

CONCLUSION

After implementing our solution, the item availability was increased from 97% to 98,5%. This index relates directly to the decrease of stock in the common assortment, which brought the warehouse capacity needed for storing new products. Thanks to the efficient stock management, we reduced the warehouse stock value by 40 million CZK, year-on-year.
