MOTIVATION

There are only a handful of customers that we have been working with for so long as with one of the main distributors of vaccinations in the Czech Republic. It all started in the moment of our client dealing with the question of how to change a complicated manual system of distribution planning. SOLUTION

Last year was full of challenges for our client, regarding the COVID-19 pandemic and other factors such as the central information system replacement. Thanks to the growing pressure on the flexibility and efficiency of distribution planning, we recommended our client to use a module of the Roadnet Transportation Suite solution, the Territory Planner.

CONCLUSION

Roadnet allows the dispatcher to spend only 30 minutes on planning the routes for the whole customer network, consisting of hundreds of doctors offices. Territory Planner then allows the dispatcher to model the distribution at a tactical level, meaning for instance setting an optimal distribution region based on the required criteria, check the delivery frequency change impact or conduct other What-If analysis. All this allows the dispatcher to react quickly to new measures and find an optimal solution in vaccine distribution, which is conditioned by very strict conditions.
